Break into UX π»
How to use your background to get into UX?
We don't think there is any particular degree that gives you the title of UX designer. On the other hand, don't underestimate what you have done before. Your experience and degrees can be relevant to UX. Discover in this resource how your degree can be related to design.
The most common mistakes made by junior designers and how to avoid them βοΈ
Key takeaways:
1. You're spreading yourself too thin: don't do too many things. Quality takes time.
2. You think 9-5 is enough: it won't be enough to develop your skills. Spend extra time practicing the skills you have learned.
3. Confusing UX and UI. Do we really need to explain this?
4. Wanting to progress too quickly: don't focus too much on the title. UX is a complex field, focus on your progress instead.
5. Not reading enough or reading too much and not applying what you've learned: find a balance and apply what you read.
